End Grain cutting board - highly featured recycled messamate

This is a beautifully crafted recycled end grain cutting board.

The timber was salvaged from the stairs during the renovations at the Kinnears Ropeworks factory in Footscray, Melbourne. 

This piece serves more as a statement piece than a practical cutting board, as there were too many open grains on the surface that would have required filling.  Hiding the true character of the piece. 

Approx 350 wide X 300 high and 35mm thick.

The board features a more modern beveled edge all the way around rathar than traditional hand holds on the sides.

Temporary stick on feet have been installed, allowing you the option of rubber feet, brass feet or no feet (not recommended if use as a cutting board).
